Just got my new 2012 prius 3 and everything is better than the 2011 prius 2 we traded. Radio however is being a tool and I need help! Issues: when I click on audio nothing shows up... Says undefined and all is grated out. Audio clicked again and I have the typical presents all about and I can shift from xm to fm VIA the saved presets only, if I press source I get the same undefined audio button and all are grayed out. Nav... Nav says I am in Canada and not moving.... Actually... I am in Florida!!! What The hell... Paired iPhone 4 via Bluetooth and cannot use the handsfree at all, says it transfers call to radio but nothing happens, no sound and not Mic pick up... I plan on taking car in tomorrow... Just wanted to see if anyone knew what was up... I am just hoping it is nothing serious....
Did you buy the car new or used? Private? or Dealer? If new from a dealer then my first thought is def bring it into service and let them know whats going on. Something definitely sounds off.
Went to dealership today, their prius guy will be in on Monday, bummer for me but i'll provide an update when I learn more... Thanks for the interest tho!
Here's the update for now, service department will pull radio out and see if it can be reset, if not then I have to have it replaced...god news Is, it has a 3yr 36K mile warranty on the radio... BTW, is a brand new 2012 prius three... When I hear back about radio, I'll update... Total bummer for the road trip to cali tho...
