I have a 2012 Prius with 256,765 Kilometers /159,546 miles. I have torque pro and depending on when I check them, I am getting 16 volts per PID, and just tonight got 17's across the board. I have not done the life expectancy test with Dr Prius yet, can't get the VeePeak to connect to it?. I am trying to judge the lifespan left in the batteries. Are these voltage results evidence of a healthy hybrid battery?
The "Voltage Difference" between blocks is the number to monitor for lifespan... As the pack gets older the numbers will fluctuate higher and higher over time and that's where the first red triangle on a battery pack usually comes from as error codes P3000 and P0A80. It happens rarely at first and that happens more often over time.
