Lol, only $1698.00, not including shipping from Japan.

I think I'll just have to be satisfied with the kit I ordered. ;)

Can't use it anyway. Blue light is illegal here. Maybe they have a version with white DRL light?

I just called my local dealer to see if the sold a fog light kit for the 2012 Prius......The grill itself is $149 not painted.

What do you mean by "grill?" Isn't the grill black?

So the dealer actually told you it's painted black? We had a debate when the Gen III first came out whether the rear black spoiler is black plastic or painted plastic. Several members were arguing it's not painted as you can't see the orange peel effect.

Yes, dealer told me it comes unpainted.

I guess the only way to find out is to bite the bullet & buy it.

Would the 2010-2011 oem Fog lights fit after getting the grill? But would the fog lights be able to be mounted on the new grill?

The 2010-2011 has the fog lights under the turn signal. The 2012 has them in the lower grill

9G-man called a dealership about the 2012 fogs and the parts guy told him the actual fog lights are the same as the ones used on the 2010-2011. In that same thread (post #8 I think), 9G also lists the part number of the lower grill from the 2012.

    Here's the thread:

Yep. I've asked why & all they keep saying is that they need to be made........how can that be when the parts sre being made all thr time since these are new models.

Yeah, I don't believe them. Suppose a 2012 Five gets into an frontal accident, would an insurance company or body shop wait a month for parts? It's out there somewhere.
