    I believe it may be a good idea to cover the center console with something that will wear better than the factory fabric.

    This product appears to be a reasonable offering.

    Yes, I had one on my 2010, easy to fit, easy to clean, very good quality and fitment. Sold my 2010, now have a 2012 v wagon, and ordered one to fit it. Excellent product that I recommend.
