2010 Prius Hatchback II (non-op parts car) $2000

It's finally time to let the Prius go. I am the original owner, and performed ALL of the maintenance religiously. Unfortunately, the car has had too many recent issues, and it doesn't make financial sense for me to continue to spend money to keep her running. Here is the long and short of it:

The engine has burned oil for a long time, to the point where I was adding a quart about every 200 to 300 miles. At around 180k miles, I also started losing coolant. I discovered that the #2 cylinder had quite a bit of oil floating on top of the piston. After cleaning out the intake manifold and adding some leak stop to the radiator, I was good until around 190k miles. At that time I developed an exhaust leak and discovered that the gasket between the header and cat had blown out. Unfortunately, while the car was limping home, the "check hybrid system" warning also came on. I believe that the excessive oil consumption eventually plugged up the cat and caused the gasket to blow out, this also caused an adjacent hybrid wiring harness to partially melt.

So there you have it. As mentioned above, I have taken very good care of the car, but there are some things that preventative maintenance just can't prevent. The car currently has 190k miles, but due to the hybrid system error, it will not go into drive or reverse. The interior is in good condition, with no major wear. The front windshield has a large crack, and there is minor collision damage to the rear bumper. The title is clear and in my possession, and registration is current.
