I am also waiting for the 2010 prius. I use to look for news about any 2010 prius news almost everyday. I got tired, but now that the prices are out, why toyota keep the real delivery date so secret?

Does anyone guess/knows why toyota still have not released the cars? Are these cars being loaded into the ships in Japan, or are they already in route to USA, or is toyota still making final touch ups...

I did not put down any deposit, I will just buy when it is available.

Even in this economy , without putting a deposit, do you think I will have to wait a long time to get one?

Is everyone in this forum who intends to buy, have put a deposit?

Assuming that this car will be release by end of this month, I want to buy in June. Without a deposit, do you think is possible?

    thank you.

and... I have not seen any honda insights in the streets around sf bay area, highway 101. Are they selling well? or is it too soon to tell? I am a regular honda owner, i have not bought a new car for 10 years. This time I will get this prius.

They an on ship(s) on their way and the first batch can be expected at dealerships beginning the third week of May through the 2nd week of June. There are too many logistical reasons as to why different areas may see cars before others... (All info from Toyota themselves)

Good things come to those who wait.

Toyota will be releasing their Japan domestic model on 18 May.
So I supposed the international ones will get theirs shortly after.
