Hello, I'm selling my 2009 Toyota Prius Touring. I plan to upgrade to a Prius Prime. I am the second owner of this car and bought it in 2017 from Huntington Beach Honda at 75,000 miles on the odometer. Here are some of the maintenance I have had done in the last five years. Current odometer reading is 176,597 miles. 1) new break actuator installed at West Coast Toyota in 2022 2) new oem hybrid inverter coolant pump installed last September 2024 by me 3) Alpine apple carplay/android auto unit installed by me, voice button activates Siri 4) new engine water pump installed in 2020 5) new hybrid battery installed in 2024 by Nexpower (Sodium ion battery). Also replaced ECU with a new OEM unit. 6) new coolant valve replaced in 2022 7) new shocks and struts replaced in 2022 8) new low rolling resistance tires installed at 144,283 miles 9) Millercat stainless steel catalytic converter theft plate installed in 2022 10) new OEM catalytic converter installed in 2022 from theft 11) new MFD replaced in 2023 when the old one went out 12) regular oil changes every 4,000 to 5,000 miles. 13) regular brake service and transaxel fluid changes. 13) new front brake pads in 2020 at 122,000 miles. 14) new duralast 12-volt battery a few weeks ago installed by me Some cosmetic defects include some sun damage on the hood, roof, and spoiler, as well as some cracks in the driver side interior leather. Overall the exterior and interior are in great shape. Honestly the car is in great shape, I'm just making more money now and can afford something newer. This car has been great and still averages 42 - 48 mpg based on season and city vs freeway driving. I have records of all the above maintenance, and I have the title in hand.
Very nice Prius! My family is only just beginning to think about looking for a first car for me and a Gen 2, especially one like yours, is right up my alley. Unfortunately budget is tight for this category so I probably won't be buying for awhile. I still like to shop Prii just for the fun of it. I hope you find a good owner for yours!
