2008 Prius shocks making noise

    Ok, so I have an 08 Prius with 2yr old shocks/struts and each bump I take it makes all sort of clunkity/thunkity noises and I feel each little bump. There’s no boaty ride to it. I have on after market rims with 205/55 R16 tires. Little oversized probably but can’t think that’s causing the shocks/struts to go bad in 2yrs. Any thoughts /ideas on the noises and the ride? Thanks in advance!
