I just replaced all the interior bulbs in my new 2008 Prius and thought I would pass along the info.

    I bought them from Superbrightleds.com.

I used WLED-x6 warm white for the map/courtesy between the visors 3 bulbs.

One 3022-WWHP2 high power 2-led festoon bulb - warm white for the rear dome. You can also use this bulb for the two vanity mirror lights and the rear hatch light but I used a 37mm 3710-xWHP6 high power 6 led cool white festoon bulb for the hatch light. It's a little more dificult to make it fit but gives off a lot more light.

I used two WLED-x5 wide angle led bulbs warm white WLED-WW5 for the courtesy lights at the bottom of the front doors.

You can email me if you have questions. All the bulbs cost around $60

To anyone who hasn't changed the bulbs in the car, the bulb pulls straight out. I made the mistake of thinking they were push and twist out bulbs and I ended up pushing the bulb holder inside the head liner . I changed mine to LED's also, except for the one that is currently in the head liner.... They work pretty good, definitely brighter and whiter than the stock bulbs.

Be careful with the map lights.

    hahahaha.

Yeah how does the warm white look compared to the regular bulbs? It'll be a good alternative to the cool whites esp. for the vanity mirrors where a warmer light is easier when you're looking at your face.

I think warm white is the color of the factory bulbs, while cool white is the bluish light that is cast by some HID lights.

    ZZtopp,

Would you change any of your bulb choices now that you've had the chance to check em out?

    Correct.

while cool white is the bluish light that is cast by some HID lights.

Also correct. In this particular case he got "warm white" LEDs which will look quite similar to the stock bulbs. The cool white is brighter but some people don't care for the color.

Whats really needed is a way to point the inside lights away from your eyes. I find them very irritating. You turn them on and they blind you because they are 3 inches from your face. Directional lights are whats needed

Anyone know of a comparison chart for easy bulb to LED swapping?

I want to replace ALL of my interior bulbs with LEDs, but I'm getting perplexed when I see all the LED options. Not sure which ones replace what.

Interested in all cool light and strong

I used a company in WA. Welcome to V-LEDS.COM They have a listing of the various LEDs that will replace these numbers. I'm replacing my bulbs with LEDs a little at a time. I have no association with these guys what-so-ever, I just saw that they had great ratings and chose to use them. I will post what I have thus far in a little bit.

I agree, I have been thinking that the only easy solution would be try to block out a portion of the lens. Next project. :D

I replaced the taillight bulbs with LEDs from the same source. Forgot the part number, but they were the brightest of that type listed.
I used red for the taillights because the double red color looks better, is a ruby red rather than the orangish red. I bought signal lights too, but they flash too quickly, so will have to get the resistors.
