I had my 2007 Touring Edition with Package #3 for over a month and since I didn't have it that long, I am not familiar with some of the things. There are a few issues I hope someone here with experience can help clear things up for me.

    1) Just the other day, I noticed the red security light (red car with key) blinks even when the vehicle is not armed. The light starts to blink after powering off the vehicle with all doors still closed and I am still sitting on the driver's seat with the key in my pocket. I thought the owner's manual said it only blinks when the doors are opened. Also when I have the vehicle powered off and I am outside the car with my key and all doors closed, but not locked, is that light suppose to blink? I know that once when I lock the doors using either the remote key fob or by pressing the button on the door handle, the light stays on for approximately 30 seconds before flashing which is normal. But the thing is, that light flashes even after I unlock the doors and just loading things in the car while the key is still in my pocket or when I am just sitting inside the car. In other words, that light blinks at all time for me except when the Power is on or while I am driving the car. Is this normal or is there something wrong and how do I reset it?

    2) I have bluetooth in my car, but it keeps on disconnecting my Motorola V330 in the middle of the conversation after talking for a bit. It just disconnects and hands up after a while. Sometimes I can't get it to re-connect until I turn my phone on and off again or stop the vehicle and look for the device again. My battery and signal is strong. Anyone have similar problems? Is this my phone's problem or is it the Prius? I have a bluetooth headset I use in the past and it never disconnects from the phone during a conversation.

    3) Also, when I test drove a '05 Prius (the dealer didn't have any '06 nor '07 at that time), the salesman said that the doors automatically lock when you put the vehicle in drive. However, my car didn't do that. Is that only available with the older models?

    4) How does the ASL on the audio system work? I pressed the switch, but didn't notice any changes to the volume.

    1. completely normal.
    2. It's probably something with the phone... I have an LG, and it never disconnects - i've used it for several hours before and haven't had a problem. It might be a good idea to make a post with the model of the phone in the subject to catch others attentions incase they don't read this post - you could get experience from others with the same phone.
    3. Nope, that was a load of BS and dealer misinformation. the doors on the car have never automatically locked.
    4. Basically, as you go faster it tries to increase the volume of the radio automatically to account for road noise. it does a mediocre job in this, and doesn't really increase it enough, IMO.
