I just bought a 2007 Prius. My initial impression is that the 2007 nav system is just too antiquated. Now with Waze that allows for interactive notification of police and hazards. Of course I will have to balance using my data on my phone or iPad. What do others think? Do people use the 2007 nav instead of Waze or Google Maps? If so, why?
I use the nav to get me to places when I don't know how to get there myself. The in-built nav works for this. If I need to know traffic data, I just use Google on my phone.
I use waze, but sometimes it will send you off route when navigating, so I use the Toyota nav , and just keep waze up for traffic warnings.
