I want to inspect my cabin filter, but none of the books I have from Toyota show any pictures or locations for maintainence items. Can someone please tell me where the cabin filter is located? Thanks.

Did Toyota give you an Owners Manual? Well then I guess you didn't look at page 300-302 of your owners manual. It's right there. :D Matter of fact the last 90 pages of the owners manual is nothing but maintenance procedures and pictures.

Why go to the trouble of searching through the owners' manual when it is easier to post a question on PriusChat?

I highly recommend the Bosch filter over the OEM unit. You can normally get the Bosch filter for the same price (online at Rockauto or at Autozone) and the quality and filtering are worlds better than the OEM unit.

It's the exact same filter I use on my 4Runner, which operates in very dusty offroad conditions. WIth the OEM filter I had dust adn sand enter the cabin, with the Bosch filter I have no issues with dust or sand entering the cabin anymore.

Once you see the 2 filters side by side you will know exactly what I mean.

Yes, For an unknown reason I missed those pages. I did have them highlighted as I read the whole book when I bought the car.
