2006 Prius Audio Jack

    I just got a white 06 prius w/ package #5 and it has the audio jack that you can connect your mp3 player.
    I also have a hand held XM radio device and I wanted to know if I could plug it in and have it heard through the radio instead of buying a head unit that is satalite capable.

    You can most likely plug a cable from the headphone outlet of the XM radio into the aux jack. My Treo 650's headphone outlet has enough power to use the aux jack so your radio should also.

    I have a XM Roady II connected via that port and it works fine re playing through the audio system. However, there's no readout on the MFD of the channel and other info that XM supplies.

    I have my Sirius plugged into the AUX jack, and it sounds excellent.
