    Sorry for not searching first.
My understanding is that Toyota is responsible in case of catastrophic failure of Prius 2005, etc.
We have 7 year, 100,000 mile coverage.
Spouse called on mobile phone 100 miles from home, said the car twice has failed, she called a tow truck but I directed that she talk with Toyota (Fairfax, VA) before doing anything else PLUS I am expecting a phone number in her manual (owner) to headquarters. Assistance from anyone who has faced this already?

since you have the warranty, it will cover towing to the nearest dealership if the problem is covered under the warranty. did she say what failed?

Hmm.... that sucks. I hope for your sake it's just out of gas. With only 25k miles I would think all would be fine.

As far as towing to the closest dealership, I'm not sure where that will be, but it won't be Fairfax (of course). If it's the Richmond area, let those of us in the area know if we can help with logistics in any way.
