Hi All, Looking at buying a Prius, what are the main differences between the 2005 and 2006 model, any pro's or cons? Also I wonder why consumer reports only gave the 2005 model a good on electrical where the 2006 and 2007 was excellent? I would like to know what the issue was, was it minor recalls etc. Thanks, Greg
The MFD in the 2006 has a higher resolution. Apparantly for 2006 the traction control program was modified to make the Prius better in snow. The 2006 dash surfaces are textured while they are smooth in 2005. Good luck in your hunt.

Found a 2007 for 19k with 10k miles on it with Package 2, seems like a pretty good deal to me, what's the main differences between the 07 and 08 model.
