Took our 2004 Prius in for a new combination meter and a couple other things. Got the car back and the Multi-Function Display is pink! Immediately took the car back in and they say it's just because it's old and that they didn't do anything during the service visit to cause it, even though it was normal when we took it in.

Offering replacement for $1400 + labor! I know I can replace it myself with a refurb or used, but wondering if anyone's seen this issue with the pink/magenta hue and if there are other options to fix it without replacing the MFD.

    That's cool.
    Haven't had that happen before.
    Thanks for posting it!

    That’s new.
$1,400 eh? I remember when we were discussing how it was $4,000 for a new one!
