2003 Toyota Prius: Clean, No issues, 150K Miles, HOW MUCH CAN I SELL IT FOR?

    Clean with no accidents, no rust...

    Replaced the invertor coolant pump (around 140k?) and that's the only mechanical issue I ever came across. Just spent $300 on brand new tires.

    I was going to ask $5000 obo. I'm thinking $4300 would be me giving the new buyer a good deal. And $4600 would be me getting the better end of the deal. So in the $4300 to $4600 range - realistically.

    What kind of price are we talking about. I live in MI.

    I want to upgrade to a Gen II

    I think you are right in the ballpark, my "opinion" would be list it at 4900 and negotiate down to 4500.. 4900 sounds cheaper than 5000 .. Good luck!!! Can I ask why you are selling it?? never mind !!! you are upgrading...lol

    If you are still on the original hybrid battery $4500 may be a little high...since every buyer will be concerned about the battery dying. It also depends where you are...around Boulder Gen1's can fetch good money, but in Texas nobody wants them.

    If they car has lived in Michigan all it's life it is rusty...maybe not the body panels you can see but everything underneath will be a PITA to service for shops not used to it. When a customer comes in from MI, WI, MN etc to my shop it takes 50% longer to fix pretty much everything under the car due to the salt they use on the roads out there.

    At least you can tell potential buyers good rebuilt Hybrid batteries are available for well under $2000 installed, should they ever need one.

    I would get the headlight lens cleaned but otherwise it looks clean! Good luck on selling it!

    WOW! That thing is in nice shape comparing to the beat up one I bought. I paid $2300 2002 with 143,000 in MN in November 2013 to give you another comparison basis.

    I bought it from the original owner who was from Colorado. Not sure how long she was in Michigan but I think she was recently married with a different last name than on the title. So I believe it's only seen 2 MI winters (maybe 3 tops).
