So, I have about 133k on my 2008 Prius and no real issues thus far. I could pay cash for something new, but I like driving cars until they have nothing left, I am sort of wondering if that might be sooner or later...

Recently, about every 30 minutes or so, the master warning will flash, and the word "Problem" will appear on the display. The master warning and beep is extremely brief, maybe 1/4 second, and the word Problem lingers around 5 seconds. This is happening pretty constantly now, about one time every 20-30 minutes of power on time. It does not seem to matter if the car is moving or not. I have not noticed in while in P, but am not in P powered on very long. Toyota service center said check the doors, which were all secure in every instance.

I am also getting the issue with the left headlight. It randomly shuts down, both beams, until power to the lights is cycled completely off and back on.

    Any help?

    1. Regarding the master warning triangle, beep, and "Problem" on MFD, check the engine oil level.
    2. Regarding the left headlight, I assume you have HID lights. Replace the HID light now with the correct Toyota-branded bulb or a genuine Philips equivalent. Do not continue to cycle the light because that is putting unnecessary stress on the HID ballast - and if it fails then you'll get to replace the ballast as well as the light.
