13 persona EGR breakdown

So I had some time this morning and I pulled the EGR system off the rattling persona and by goodness the EGR valve looks clean undid the two little screws withdrew the magnet when I turn the magnet the valve moves I can see it moving in and out close it back up slide the housing back on I guess this gets energized and excites the magnet and the motor spins and opens and closes the valve simple enough I don't see the ramp or the broken plastic piece or whatever might be in there everything looks solid and relatively clean light coating of black carbon I imagine. On down from the EGR valve We have the cooler The cooler I can't see daylight through it but just gently exhaling through it produces air at my finger when I'm blocking the other end so I imagine exhaust will have no trouble pushing through both of the coolers I have are like that so I'm going to send them both out to be cleaned the gold pipe that goes from the EGR valve or whatever to the intake manifold that'll be clean but I can push a 3/8 ball hone through it I do believe that's what size this is. The intake manifold itself when I squirt water through the port where the metal pipe connects water comes squirting out of those four EGR ports in each intake port at the same time and at the same flow a steady stream the diameter of that port what is it 3 mm 2 mm doesn't seem to be any clogging in there I'll go ahead and run the gun cleaning tools through it and make sure everything is as adequate it seemingly can be so I'm guessing my problem is not anything to do with EGR and that sort of thing I don't really think I'm up for taking the transmission out just to look at the flex plate but maybe another day who knows. The generation 3 has definitely been disappointments times two and we look forward to not having any more disappointments with these models they are just not a thing I mean very disappointing it's kind of funny actually when you compare it to the generation 2 or a real Corolla or any of that this car is quite a joke and it's been on me I needed a little fun in my life and this was definitely some of it this is quite hysterical stuff looks like just one for the trash heap kind of sad because it is a cute car but boy is it really cheaply built even down to the sheet metal you just I was leaning over the car while I was undoing the bottom bolt on the EGR cooler and like to caved in the whole front fender needless to say if it goes back together they'll be a few studs that are going to get replaced with bolts to make this disassembly and assembly go reasonable I'll trim the bottom bracket with the bolt hole that no one should ever bother to put back No need for it at all and that should be the end of that I'll put the bolt in that goes down there to hold that line but then the cooler will just not have its bracket for that hole and go right by it.
