This should be pretty straightforward, and I did an extensive search but found nothing. What wire gauge is the OEM ground cable for a Gen II Prius? Thanks in advance.
The 12 volt battery ground wire is approximately 14 guage or maybe 12 guage but it's only about 6"inches long before it grounds to the body. The positive wire is approximately 6 guage and probably 14 foot long. Mine is copper some say there's is aluminum. My hv batter cable is shielded aluminum 6 or 8 guage about 14 foot in length (possibly doubling as high power balast resistor/ current surge protector lol )!
