I recently brought in my 2008 for 120K service during which the dealer recommended I replace both front and rear struts. I haven't noticed anything unusual with the car handling or ride quality.

    My questions:
    - How long do the original struts typically last - normal urban / suburban roads.
    - How much should I expect to pay for the parts & labor to replace a strut?

If it's not leaking and you are happy with the ride, you probably don't need to replace. 120k is a lot of miles but if the ride is ok, you can wait. The cost at the dealer is about $1000
