Is there any way to turn off (eliminate) the car and landscape at the top of screen that is taking up valuable space?

Nope. It's part of the design unfortunately.

Np. I can see that they mimic the curvature when you open the climate control or radio panel on the bottom half. Maybe they wanted a bit of curves rather than a plain straight window frame. Also, to mimic Tesla, the little Prius on the top should turn on its lights when you turn on your headlights.

It would be. Does it turn on too? I can't check cause I don't have a Prime.

Ok, inspection done, results no the headlights nor the taillights light up even when you turn on the headlights or apply the brake, but the car shown is a regular Prius (not a Prime, go figure:confused:)

Wait what? I'm pretty sure all the videos I've seen showed a Prime at the top in silver.

Hmm, too bad about the headlights. Maybe it was a prototype that I saw.

Oh goody, I was smart enough to screen capture it lol..

Well that explains it, I checked it out when it was still daylight out and by switching the actual headlights on the car on. I will have to investigate further when it's dark out. I could have sworn I saw the regular Prius headlights in the picture of the car at the top of the screen, I'll have to put on my reading glasses and get a closer look, lol
