Still had 1500 more miles left on the 0-20w Toyota Synthetic Oil and K&N/M1/Champion Laps Oil Filter.

GEORGE: Our overall finding in this report is that your Prius' engine is still maturing very nicely. Most
metals (including iron, copper and lead) and silicon have all dropped pretty significantly since last time. The
one exception is aluminum, which increased by a mere 2 ppm over this oil run. That may show a little extra
piston wear, but at this point it's really nothing to get excited about. It should taper off in your next reports,
and other metals should continue to improve as well. The TBN still was good at 2.3, so go up to 11,500
miles on your next report. Check back to monitor.

The aluminum generation is actually reducing, not increasing. The previous run was ~5k miles, this one was ~10k miles so there is less aluminum per mile in the latest batch. It is showing less piston wear, not more.

    Good point!

Many on BITOG have reported outstanding results with this oil. Much better then the M1 0w-20. Even though Exxon makes this proprietary blend to Toyota specs. Some have reported that this may even be a better base stock then what is in M1? Im also certain that the filter used played a roll in this report.
