Timed to hopefully coincide with a car coming off lease. I currently drive a BMW 330 (the leased one) and a Corvette. So this will be quite a change for me and will mean a change in my driving behavior. My concerns are driving in the snow since I live up a steep road, up a private drive which leads to a 90 degree turn up the very steep beginning of my driveway. I'll get the best snows I can and I'm sure things will be fine. But I will miss greatly heated seats.
carjon, Congratulations. A change for the better, I would think. Not to worry, you will be bathed in a warm glow for having done a far better thing.
If I'm not mistaken, Package 5 doesn't have leather ... so you'll probably be ok without heated seats. The leather gets so much colder. I find a long coat is doing the trick for me
You won't notice the absence of seat warmers. You'll be amazed at the great MPG and you'll probably fine tune your driving to save gas on your vet as well. Do some reading on this site and you'll be one up on the learning curve...there is one.:rockon: Enjoy !
