08 Prius Will not import Contacts

Hello
Have had my Prius for 4 months.After being told at the dealer that Toyota had flashed the Nav system disabling the ability to bluetooth the contacts from my Iphone to the Nav. One of the threads here told me I'd have to use an Android phone. After 3 months I managed to upload my contacts to a HTC Thunderbolt through Google Contacts. But after trying every way to upload I see the same result. As soon as you hit import Contacts on the Nav, It says transferring, but tells you to send from Phone. What I notice is that the Bluetooth connection is immediately lost until you hit cancel. Exactly like with the iPhone. I have 700 contacts so I'm certainly not going to do them manually. I tried both phone apps on Android and Mac that export Contacts via Bluetooth but it still seems to be the bluetooth issue.
