05 Prius engine won’t start after main HV battery pack replacement.

    I replaced two battery cells out of the main HV battery pack using all safety recommendations from Toyota. Everything went well and the car worked afterwards. I made the mistake of testing the voltage incorrectly and the battery failed shortly after. I replaced a third cell. Now when I push the power button, the computer comes on but no speedometer and no running engine. I figured I must’ve triggered a code or something so I re-did it, same thing happened. I have most of the normal procedure down very well since I have done it three times. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

    What kind of OBD2 reader are you using to retrieve those DTCs with?

    For that P0A0D - first check the orange HV battery interconnect, did you install it correctly? (flip up, push down)

    Yeah, double/triple check that you not only flipped the lever, but SLIDE the lever after its flipped.. I did the same thing..
