‘07 fog lamp switch wrong size for dash... :(

I just bought a fog lamp kit and the switch is too big for the spare switch plate on the driver’s side by the steering wheel. The care obviously, didn’t come equipped with the lamps. The old ones were on the car when I bought it and there’s not wiring to it so I bought a new kit to have them work. Any thoughts on a smaller switch size? Can I get one from a parts yard? Amazon? Etc.? I don’t really want to send the lamp kit back now that I’ve opened it and put most of it in... Help would be appreciated.
