after you drill out the plastic rivets, the leftover plastic stalks are very short (i think 1/4" to 1/8"). Not really sure if there are screws...

well, i took the door panel off... looked at the rivets... then put the panel back on.. it looked a little too intimidating. once you drill off...

the smaller buttons are cutouts while the larger button are tucked in on the edges. Also, all the sides are tucked. i didn't use any adhesive...
