PS I have a Prius Prime 2017 with the curvey window. I need to update my profile. I traded in the 2012 PIP.
Did anybody ever respond, or did you get some good answers you could share? I'm in the same situation. Thanks!
Like you, I traded my 2012 PiP for 2017 Prime. So far, so good! It's a great ride. @bisco is right that decreased hatch space is not a plus....
Yep, you were right--as usual--@bisco. The guy in parts was super serious about *never ever ever* attaching a hitch to a Prime or my battery...
Good points. If they were giving away the PiP, I'd probably go for that, but the sticker is $19,750 for a 2014 with 49K which is pretty steep IMHO.
Thanks, @bisco and @Washingtonian. Yeah, driveway is further than 25' from home outlet. We live in a forest in crispy CA., so wouldn't want to...
Apologies for the error, and thank you, @Tideland Prius!
Thanks. I was figuring out what the Gen. 3 and 4 were meanwhile... But still trying to figure out the answer to a particular question about...
Thanks @Tideland Prius and @alanclarkeau. I hope @Tideland Prius is right about the Federal and CA. rebates. Check out this article, the most...
Oops--accident. Reposted in Prime thread. Not even sure what a Gen. 4 is. Thanks for info! Still unclear on the question of whether the battery...
Dear Prime and Plug-in enthusiasts, [Posted in Prius Plug-in 2012-2015 too, and Gen. 4 by accident. Forgive multiples.] Tomorrow, I have to trade...
Dear Prime and Plug-in enthusiasts, [I posted this on the Prime thread too. Hope that's okay.] Tomorrow, I have to trade in my 2014 PiP Advanced...
Dear Prime and Plug-in enthusiasts, Tomorrow, I have to trade in my 2012 PiP Advanced with 55K mi. (which I loved) because of mildew from water...
That's great to know! Been thinking that if I have to keep this chemical bomb of a car, I'm going to need to "defuse" it, so to speak, from the...
Very smart. Good to know head space analysis exists, though all industrial hygienists so far have said I'd have to know what I'm testing for...
Interesting, thanks! Makes sense they'd use a masking agent. Want to get ahold of the product name to see what all's in it. Just looked up...
And BTW, you guys are awesome! Wish I'd written earlier rather than trying to puzzle this all out alone. I'll try to keep my posts shorter. ;)
This sounds like the spirit of my approach so far. And I'd probably wait for months like you and drive with windows open and steam clean...
Interesting analysis--thanks. They did say it was an actual blocked A/C line that backed up and leaked rather than being behavioral. If I'm...
Glad to be talking with someone who works in the chemical industry, Raytheeagle! What does it smell like? Cheap cherry cigar smoke, if that's...
