I am ok. If I did not still have the v I would not be here. It’s really disappointing to hear new guys buying used gen3s and then discovering issues.

Thank you for suggesting the parasitic draw might be a GPS tracker! I found it!

thx, RJ for the brake info just posted. A few months back, I think you might have given me a chart for the new pistons/rings part number in the 2014/2015 series. I used this to purchase my recent 2014, so many thx on that one too!

      Hi RJ.

Quick question. You mentioned changing HG as a gamble.

Would you consider gamble lowered if head was milled, valves cleaned and lapped, upper oil pan removed and walls honed, rods checked for true, bearing tolerance checked, new rings, and EGR system cleaned?

I ask as I’ve just done three this week. Wondering of my risk.

No not law enforcement. Just a hobby of mine to waste scammers time. Check out scambait central. It looks like I have a prospect already

Hard to say. They would have moved the inverter during the engine swap.

Hey there! Could you clarify the insight you gave on my scenario?

Is it more likely Toyota screwed up during the IPM replacement, via disconnecting things incorrectly, or is it more likely the hybrid shop triggered it at some point during the engine swap?

They wouldn't have to touch the hybrid system doing the engine swap would they?
