      Strongsidejedi,
To tell you the truth I am not familiar with the software of the prius.
I only do mechanical work and troubleshooting like if the prius would have a check engine light or the master light on. i can diagnose and repair issues.
I am a vehicle mechanic and i do prius conversions as a hobby.

I noticed you are in the OC area if you like when you have free time we can meet up some place and i could show you my prius and how it works.

      Regards,
      Arturo

      Arturo,
Many thanks for responding to my message.
      Congratulations on the install.
I am currently working on some mathematical models and attempting to analyze the functionality of the car.
I attempted to locate some key data on the Prius, but I was not successful.

Do you know if Toyota has published the algorithm used to balance the electrical and gas power consumption rates?

Hello Strongsidejedi I convert the prius to phev's I am a dealer of Plug in Supply and my Company is called Electrik Innovations I have done the conversion to my own car and have done the the conversions to forum member kiettyyy and on his post you can see pics of his installation at this link http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-phev-plug-in-modifications/56885-new-plug-in-hybrid-electric-vehicle-install-plug-in-supply-kit.html

As far as the pack it is mounted above the spare tire and it is placed with gas shocks that would hold the pack up vertically if you were in need of accessing the spare tire and it is an extra 300 pounds weight to the prius but it is compensated with stiffer and higher springs in the rear.

      Hope this answers your Q.
      Regards,
      Arturo
