Hi Roy, I never found the posting you mentioned g1 traction battery shelf life, but I will keep looking. It is not a high priority as I need to get the other 02 ready for the frame rack, things are so tight you have to pull the drive train out so they can work on the frame rails. I will keep you posted. Hi Thomas, Where do you live in Kentucky? I have a brother living in Bowling Green and a sister who lives near Lexington. I finally looked at the modules, that is one set of cells, I think there are actually 6 battery's in each module, 38 modules. They also talk about groups, not sure how Meany modules in a groupe. I got around to taking the lid off the bad battery I took out of the car and checked all the module voltages. The highest was 10.1V and the lowest was 8.38V. 1.2V difference needed to set bad battery code P3006. So 10.1V-8.38V=1.72V difference. So there was the problem. All the other modules looked good. 10.1 to 9.9V. I am going to try to charge one of the mod gels from the other battery I bought and replace the week one and see if it will hold the charge. If I was you I think I would take the lid off the do noter battery and check all the modules to make sure all cells are within at least 1V of each other. You probably know that you need to use caution working with the battery, high voltage and acid leak. Good luck with the change if you do it. Roy White rapidroy I also race cars, (Dirt Track)
