Just had 80,000 mile maintenance performed. Car performing beautifully and am averaging 52 mpg even though I drive through hilly terrain. Oct 3, 2016

    I am a senior female who has owned only Japanese cars since 1974. I have owned Mazda, Honda and Toyota. The last 20+ years I've had only Toyota - Camry and Prius. Before that a Mazda 626 and Mazda GLC, and before that Honda Civic and Toyota . And before that a Mazda wagon with rotary engine. I would never complain about any of the cars. They were all great cars with very good/excellent reliability.
    I live in a very hilly area - I get about 52 mpg on my lowest mpg trips and daily to work and back (up and down the hills) about 55-56 mpg. My worst miles per gallon is in the city.
    I really enjoy the Prius, its amenities and the wonderfully smooth ride - like riding on glass.
