      You must be a "Banker" if you ride 2-3 hours on the ferry that much.

      I took my Honda on the Cedar Island ferry not knowing that the little rubber nipple had fallen off the brake pedal lever, so the brake lamps stuck on. After 3 hours on the ferry my battery was dead, but the attendants quickly jump started it to get me going--I was the lead car and blocking everybody on my side! Embarrassing, but a great crew.

        Related. I'm a real estate appraiser going out to Ocracoke, typically there and back in a day. I usually drive around to the Hatteras ferry and/or take the Swan Quarter ferry but with the recent schedule changes I've taken the Cedar Island ferry and then drive around back to Washington. Yes, the ferry crews are great. Do you also go out for work or pleasure?
