I am so glad to find this site! :-) My husband and I bought a 2011 Toyota Prius in March two days after the tsunami in Japan after selling our 1997 Toyota Camry with 240,000 miles on it. Our Camry was in nice shape for its age but fuel efficiency became more important to us, especially with our in town driving and all of our relatives living out of state.
I was hoping to find a Model 4 or 5 but they didn't have any at that time in our 5 state region with the color I wanted (Blizzard Pearl). So we opted to buy the Model 2 in the color we both liked. We took it home that day and it has been so wonderful to drive! I am still new to how the Prius works. On my screen, I am averaging around 41.2 MPG. I always have it on the Eco Mode so is that the best option to leave on for the best gas mileage? I rarely use the Power Button and am still trying to figure things out. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I would appreciate your thoughts!
