I don't use earphone too often. I mainly just like the ability to do playlists based on my mod. I also think I'm also just giving myself an excuse so I can have a built in GPS system.

BTW, there are lots of over the ear solutions that could probably solve your headphone issue. There a good discussion on various types of earphones at iLounge

My prius is pretty new to me still so I'm not sure how we'll she'll handle in the snow yet. I really need to bring it to an empty parking lot and play with it to learn how she handles. I'm sure changing the tires would help.

The ground clearance of the prius was always a concern. I'm already scrapped her twice on the bottom so I'm having to retrain myself to take bumps a little more gingerly.

Snow doesn't bother me. I fortunate enough to be able to WFH on snow days. If I have to drive in snow I've got my old 4Runner to get me around if needed.
