Hey 4.3l/100km is great. Thats 65 uk mpg and really good. I get an average of 5.8l/100 but is still a big improvement to my Peugeot 406. I'm sad to hear about your drivers seat. I don't have a problem with mine and find it ok over 10 hours. Does the Greek Prius have the lumber support like the rhd uk one?

No name for my Prius but am surprised you named yours after a slow horse. They're not that slow - are they? How do the other cabbies find the Prius? Always getting other cabbies asking me questions all the time.

How's business in Greece? Times are still hard here. Just when you think things are getting better with a few good days, you'll suddenly get a couple real bad ones to make up for it :( We have a new Government and have no money left as a country and there's talk of cost cuttings of 30-40% in Government departments which will probably have a knock on effect on me. I'm glad the Prius uses so little fuel and couldn't face paying what I used to do with a diesel.

You've had your Prius a while now, how are you finding it as a cab? Is it living upto expectations? Do your customers like it? Have you got more customers because of it? Are there any issues that you don't like about it? How is it on fuel? Worse or better than expected? And is it better than the Peugeot?

Yeah there are a few cab drivers on this forum, one in Ireland and then a few from Canada and America.

I have only had mine for 6 months and put 16,500 (26,500km) miles on it so far. It is used in town most of the time and most short runs of less than a mile or so.

I previously had a 2002 Peugeot 406 HDi 90 bhp but didn't replace it with the 407 as I thought they were a bit small on the back seat and for luggage. The Prius has plenty of rear leg room and whilst the luggage area isn't big, I find it flexible using the under floor hatch.

I hope it will be ok long term. It should be as it's a Toyota. Some of the Canadian and Australian cab drivers have run theirs upto 300 or 400k km without problems. I am hoping for 150k miles (240k km) as a minimum out of mine.

I find that most passengers are very interested in the Prius and have many people request me just because I have the Prius. I doubt you'll have any regrets and I'm sure you'll appreciate the fuel savings :)
