What a gorgeous Dobe! My nephew and his wife have one and while he looks ferocious when he first meets you, he is one of the most sensitive dogs I have ever seen. My female Bernese Mountain Dog rejected him and he whimpered.

Thanks! She finished her championship in March. She'll be 2 next month. I am obsessed with her, she's such a great dog.

HI Charlotte!! Thanks, you should see my new bumper sticker,, "If its not a Dachshund, its just a dog". Just bought it off Cafe Press, along with a sticker that says "Are you looking at my Wiener?" I love Dobe's,, if you have any pics of your please post. They are my 2nd favorite big dogs,, after all a smooth black and tan Dachshund looks like a Dobe with stumpy legs.. Welcome to PC
