Sorry I didn't see your private message about the Grom unit until just now. I have the USB 2 which has USB, aux and iPOD interfaces. All in all the unit works pretty well. There are times (rare) when the device does not get recognized at power-up and I have to restart the car. Other than that it pretty much works as advertised. Biggest drawback is song info not displayed on MFD but that is how Toyota designed the car. For most people I would think the Grom aux device (no USB or iPOD input) would work fine. You can still use your iPOD using the earphone jack. Again, sorry I took so long to reply.
