Yesterday, after waiting exactly 6 weeks, I took delivery of my new 2010 Prius IV (silver gray metallic, light gray leather, solar roof, nav., etc.) and it is, simply stated, terrific. I must say that the dealer experience was fine (we have bought cars from them before), there were no surprises, and I was prepared for the warrantee talk. I did get a cost quote of $1,112 for the Platinum and I decided to wait and get some more info from Troy about this and also the Car Care Service Plans. If anybody would like to discuss any more specifics, let me know. My wife and son already love the car and I will probably have to hide the FOB's.

I ordered a 2010 Prius IV (w/solar roof and electronic stuff) a month ago (in mid July), and the local dealer still has no idea when they might get one for me. Does anybody have any ideas or thoughts on what's going on here? Also, does anybody have any suggestions on how to speed up this process? Thanks. MG
