My wife and I finally got our new '05 Prius yesterday after about six months on the waiting list. Best...car...ever. This is the best thing I've ever bought in my life. We got ours fully decked out and in my opinion there these things have the best "bang for the buck" you could ever find. It's like a cool sci-fi future car. If I didn't know the price I would have guessed they would cost much more. GPS navigation, voice command, the cool on screen controls and such (I'm such a gadget freak). I've been giggling uncontrollably ever since we got it. I love this car. Now, off to scour the forums before I ask any questions (in case they've already been answered).
Welcome! And I know what you mean -- I felt like George Jetson for the first month of driving it. (Except that I never needed to yell, "Jane! Stop this crazy thing!" )

Congrats Nos402! I just bought mine less than a week ago. I still like to go sit in it while its parked in the garage. So did you have to pay a mark up as well as or just have to get on a waiting list. Im glad I didnt have to do either. :mrgreen:
