    There's starting to be quite a few Gen 3's on the road here in Vancouver; probably see one or two if I go for a long drive around the city. Sometimes I get a Prius wave or a headnod. But today, while driving on Granville near Broadway I saw my first Gen 3 taxi. A Blizzard Pearl, operated by Bonny's Taxi. I was hoping the taxi companies would hold off on buying the new Prius for awhile, soon people will be trying to hail me down for a ride too! I wonder how the cabbies like the new interior?

    Nice looking ride TP :)

    Now... let's get some fogs on, shall we? ;)

    <<Edit>> Hey, I just noticed... No license plate on the front bumper for you folks? Man, I envy you on that one already. :D

    Cheers;

    lol.... when someone finds out a surefire solution and it isn't too expensive and easy to install (my wiring skills are quite poor). Let me know if you find one cause I've read the foglight thread and I'm confused as heck.

    Well then you know which province i'm in lol... there's only two that don't have front plates IIRC.... cause obviously I'm not in the territories

    I was hoping they'd just use a flat white. Oh well. I guess all Prius colours except Sandy Beach will be used as taxis...

    Newton Whalley can use the Blue Ribbon
    Richmond Taxi can use Barcelona Red
    I can't remember who uses silver. but yellow cabs usually have silver as their base colour.

    Black sure is classy, but do you find its difficult to keep clean?

    Here is Eastern Canada, (Nova Scotia) all I've seen so far is Black and White, saw a lime green the other day, didn't seem to look good though. I live in Antigonish, a town in Nova Scotia and we have about 6 that I've seen so far. I'm thinking of getting a Beige one, Sandy color. Should be easier to keep clean, and not looking forward for that snow coming in January.

    Ohh? Interesting. Are black and white cars common in NS or just the Prius? The lime green would be Silver Pine Mica.

    Welcome aboard!!

    No, W&B are not uncommon, but I just found it odd, that they are the only colors I've seen so far, must be the most popular I guess, at least for now.:)

    Ahhh. I've only seen 2 blacks and they were both Tourings on the dealer's lot. None on the road yet.

    I got my winter wheels too (steel rims) with Michelin's X-ICE mounted. Bought some wheel covers for them since I do not like to see the black rims all winter long.

    However, I will wait until there's enough snow and ice on the roads. Until then I'll enjoy the 3.3-3.8 L/100km I get with the OEM LLR rubber. Nothing can beat it. ;)

    I'll post pics as soon as I get the winter wheels mounted. :)

    Cheers;

    bah humbug lol. I'm getting 4.4 on winter tyres. I did reset Trip A once and managed to maintain 4.0 over the last 150km. Definitely nowhere near you.
