Hey all, I've seen many photos with other individuals setting up their Scangauges to display both SOC and BTA on the same screen(at the same time). How do you do this? If tell my Scangauge to display SOC and BTA, only SOC will show and the BTA will be blank. It only displays one at a time. Any ideas? Thanks!
If two gauges have the same TXD value they will collide. So if you use 07E321CE for BTA then don't use the 07E321CE TXD for SOC. They will interfere and one of the two will not be shown. Instead, use a passive request for the SOC at TXD: 03C3. So enter these settings for SOC instead: TXD 03C3 RXF 010382CB0000 RXD 2010 MTH 000A00020000 NAM SOC Now you can watch BTA and SOC simultaniously. Good luck! Floyd
I am wonder why my Soc is blank along with Bta today till I find Floyd's posting. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Thanks! Floyd
About a month ago, I spoke with Ron and James from Linear Logic regarding same RXF addresses. Currently, if two xgauges contain the same RXF match data (bytes 2 and 4, 1 and 3 are used for determining which byte in the message to match), the xgauge(arbitrarily determined) is executed first will "steal" away any data with the same RXF match from any other xgauge. According to Linear Logic, this will be taken care of in the next firmware release. Can't wait to view my custom CAN data -Kiet
