Portable DVD Through the Nav Screen

VAIS Technology just emailed me and wanted me to post their release...
Here is the email...
"We would like to inform you that VML-MultiMediaLinQ is now available
for 2010 Toyota models. You are more then welcome to place an order on our website...You can also post that more features are coming in the next three weeks. And it's free update right through the USB port on the VML, without taking the unit out of the car."
Yes the VML is audio only...
No word yet on the video unit...
I'll post when they get back to me...

I was at a Toyota dealer yesterday and the sales rep told me that if you take out the NAV DVD and put in a movie DVD that it will play the movie on the NAV screen. He said "Don't tell anyone that I told you". I wonder if that is true?

Nope... Unless you need to enter the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Code"]konami code[/ame]...
I could not get anything to come up except something about no DVD map loaded.
