Hi everyone. I just recently purchased a 2010 Prius. Huzzah Because I purchased it during the floor mat recall, it came with no mats. I bought some 3rd party ones on Amazon and they didn't fit well I've searched this forum a bit looking for suggestions, but haven't found any. I see that there's a shop section that sells floor mats, but I don't see any info about whether these have the same problem that caused the OEM floor mats to be recalled. If people have suggestions for floor mats and ones that they know are safe, it'd be greatly appreciated!
I might be wrong but I thought the recall didn't apply to the 2010 prius. Does you invoice list the cost of floor mats?
The recall doesn't apply to 2010, but for some reason we still cannot get all-weather mats. The last I saw they were removed from the build your own site too. Just get the WeatherTech mats.
Weathertech floor liners are available now from Priius Chat Shop, Weathertech directly, and from other sellers. All-weather Weathertech mats are supposed to be available soon. That said, the liners might be hard to obtain. I will have a rant after I have finished dealing with Weathertech on my front/rear liner purchase.
My invoice does not list the cost of floor mats. Even though the 2010 Prius mats are not affected, I heard that Toyota pulled all mats. Mine certainly came with none!
I received the factory carpeted floor mats and I've ordered the WeatherTech "Exact-Fit" all-season mats as well.
