Hehe, well that may be in your case. In mine it performed much better than ME and had mild improvements over XP in usability. But, I know some people have had issues, so I know my good experiences aren't shared by everyone.
i selected the option "and what reason is it we have to celebrate in the first place?" vista was a misstep no doubt, but i think it just a bit presumptuous to think that 7 has fixed anything. i sure as heck would not trust a first release install with anything not backed up in triplicate.
Oops, i forgot you were here. Something I struggle with, if super geeks hate Microsoft products so much why do they have parties when Microsoft release a new product?
It's an excuse to have a party. Generally, 'super geeks' don't have much of a social life, so anytime they can have a party, it makes them feel like they are 'with it', are 'socializing', and have a life.
I went to a big Microsoft party in New York. It was for OS/2. Great party, great food, met Bill Gates and Gordon Letwin, everything free. Why wouldn't geeks go to a party like that. Shortly after the party Microsoft dumped OS/2 and rolled out NT. Tom
