(How many topics are their like this?) Yesterday I picked up my 2010 Prius Dynamic, Pearl White with aqua interior, solar roof and parking sensors (The Netherlands). The Dynamic model comes with most of the tech features, but not all. No LKA and ACC, for instance. It does have NAV. Will make pictures soon, it's too rainy outside now. But oh boy... can't believe how smooth the ride is! Previous car was a manual Ford Fiesta.
Join the club ! I have mine (Executive with solar roof, Abyss Grey) already for 2 months now. But she (?) is very familiar to me because my previous car was a Prius as well (for five-and-a-half years). I notice mainly improvements. I do like the ACC, an improvement of the already very good cruise control. But the NAV..., okay, my wife likes it because of the big screen. I have been a TomTom user for more than 6 years and in comparison this NAV is missing a lot of features (speed limits of roads, actual speeds of road traffic used in calculations, laser speed control warnings ('flitspalen'), etc.). I will have to get used to it.
Hope the ride stays smooth...mine is full of rattles & creaks after 8 weeks... :-/ Greetings from Belgium !
roads in belgium are bad compared to the netherlands.. ok just joking... well.. just a bit. nice picture of your white gen 3 prius
I love the name for the color. Marketing guys wouldn't use that name in the U.S. "abyss" tends to be used here to represent a void, emptiness, both physical and emotional. We're supposed to pretend that we're always happy.
In case you missed the pictures I posted in the sticky thread, I'll also post them here. Wasn't a particularly sunny day, but still wanted to share some photos:
Hi! Your Prius looks magnificent. Great choice on the color I love it! It is very classy looking. I have a very unrelated question I recently read about a place called Giethoorn, which was referenced as "the Venice of the Netherlands." It looked amazing, nice little cottages on the river. I wanted to know if Giethoorn is a very expensive place to live. Is it at all possible to move there, as an American? Thank you kindly and again congratulations on the Prius!
Haha, now THAT'S an unrelated question. Unfortunately I have never been to Giethoorn (even in such a small country we don't visit all the nice places, apparently). Perhaps another Dutch forum member can tell you more? Anyone? Does look lovely: I can see why they call it the Venice of The Netherlands, but it's interesting to see that the building style is typically Dutch. The farmer's houses with straw roofs and so on. I bet all the people in the picture are tourists.
giethoorn is in the netherlands and a american or any person on this planet can life in the netherlands like i can go and life in the USA.. so yes you can.....omg that sounded like aboma
