this was given to me from a friend who works for toyota, it would have fit my 2004 it straight from toyota, I sold my pri so best offer gets it, i do not get offended so just make a offer If someone you know needs it and cant afford one please let me know...
I would love to buy it too but I doubt I'll ever need one. I do like having spare parts but like someone else mentioned, the shipping would be very expensive. Heck, I'd look at it like a little investment, since if I never used it I am sure I can sell it for a few bucks more than I pay for it a few years from now. P.S. If there are no takers why not post it on eBay. I am sure you'll sell it there.
I hate ebay, I would not even mind giving it away to someone in need, shipping will be a bit crazy or pickup if you are in the area
I have 110k miles on my Prius and the HV pack is still going strong. I think about getting one as a spare but I will need to maintain it's charge. I believe NiMH self discharges over time so by the time I'll need it, it may not work anymore.
guys pleasee keep looking 1 month old still new and looking for a home.... i put it on a pallet and off the floor.. i have no problem just giving it away, as it was given to me from a friend at toyota.. not tying to make money just to move it from the garage
If you could hold out another month and a half, I'll be coming through your area and could pick it up. But you probably want it out of sight before then.. . What year car is it out of? . _H*
I vote you save it for hobbit. He's earned it a thousand times over for the information he's provided on this forum! Thanks!!
Its from my 2004 pri its never been used in originial packing stuff...OK will be glad to hold it for you I stored it off the concrete on apallet anything else i should do?
Try contacting this guy who has apparently been doing a lot of research on the Prius and PHEV nad has been scounging up Prius batteries:L. David Roper, [email protected] Or you may want to donate to: Donate to the California Cars Initiative
I think hobbit has first dibs but If you need to get rid of it sooner I would be thrilled to take it. I'm rebuilding a Prius with a questionable pack for my sweetheart and would love to start fresh. I'm an artist so I could send you something in trade if you like my work. But if you don't mind holding on to it for hobbit then he should have it. Sorry, didn't read that the first time, Ignore above post.
I can give $250 for it if you can get it to the Atlanta GA area--I want to build a Gen I Battery from two Gen II's.
It weighs only a little over 100 #'s, get two friends to load it,and straight up 75 for 300 miles-OK I will make it $300
Okay, you guys have way outbid me by now, so it's up to you! Sounds like one or the other of you has a much more immediate use for it than I would, so I hereby relinquish any dubious dibs I might have had. I'll still be heading through there come December sometime if y'all want to have a meetup, though. . _H*
