The 3rd gen Prius has taken perfection to a higher plateau. And by buying them, we've started a green revolution! Reasons why I drive a prius :mod: -The planet is choking, and we can help open it's air tubes! -It saves me money, which helps with my jam-fest tours (a few of my college buddies and I just pile into our Priuses and traverse the country, looking for good indie/alt rock concerts!) -The styling! A mix of Lamborghini's sharp lines and Ferrari beauty come together in a truly stunning package! -What it says about me! I like it that my friends and co-workers are aware of my views - I just like to inspire change! -As an Obama supporter, I believe in unification, not stratification (8 years of it, anyway!) I feel that we can all come together under one, earth-friendly banner - the threat of global climate change. -The noise (or lack thereof!) When I'm listening to the dead or sigur ros on one of our road trips, I want to be engrossed in my conversations/thoughts - not whats happening under my hood! Anywho, I need to run to pick up some organic fruits and vegetables (early bird catches the worm!) Or in this case, natural fruit. I'm gonna try to best my current record of 53MPG on the trip! LOL, been looking at your posts. Not all of us here will agree with you on politics or the environment, but we do agree the Prius answers a lot of our questions. Well went to our dealer with the intentions of buying a Scion xB, we drove it and just didn't really like. There was black '10 Prius sitting near the main entrance. I said I want to drive it. Two miles into the test drive and we were sold but we wanted white. Normally I research everything I buy to death but we just said we want it. No disrespect but if the body style had not been changed over the '09 I probably would not have bought it.

Oh boy, I never got into this Priuschat stuff expecting to go down this path. BUT I refuse to EVER relate the ownership of my Prius to President Obama, Democrats, Republicans, or any other group that has failed to represent the American people in a fiscally responsible manner. It is up to each one of us to make a change as Americans. That's in part why I own a Prius. American people have to accept responsibility for our future and expect NO hand outs from big brother. I, like many of my friends, are tired of being sold out by our current self serving Politicians. It seems that many Americans have recognized that our future is in OUR hands. And the peaceful movement has begun.
I guess "troll" means something different in this forum than it does in others. Seems to me he was trying to be inspiring and happy about his Prius. You may not agree with his politics ... but he's not trying to tear you down.
