Bye, Jack

    Jack Kelly, also known to us as Endoildependency and Jack 06, died October 4. I found this out yesterday, en route to see him. Jack was my first internet friend, and the first PriusChatter to flatter me with a visit. We spent many long hours talking on Yahoo, and I miss him already.

    I've now connected with his family and have plans to visit them tomorrow. I'll give them the bag of Coffee Crisps he loved so much, that I smuggled over the border for him.

    And I've just read of TJ's death. Sad, sad day...

    What a sad day indeed. First it was TJ, now Jack.
    My condolence to both families of TJ and Jack. We will miss them both.

    I'll definitely miss Jack. A few months after I joined PC in '06, he sent me a PM saying he liked my posts and asked me to "stay around". High praise for a newbie ... especially from a long-time member in great standing. My condolences go out to his family.

    oh, no :( Jack was such a kind soul. please send our sincerest condolences, Hyo.

    this is not a very good news week for PC. 2009 in general has been difficult in this regard, at least for me.

    I did not 'know' Jack, but I am so sorry to hear this. Please give my condolences to his family.

    I had really missed Jack's posts. He had been more active when I first joined PC. Even now when I see a thread that he started I get a warm feeling in my heart. Bless him and his family, his was a kind soul.

    I met Jack a couple years ago while smuggling candy across the U.S. border for him. He appeared to be stuggling even then but he kept a smile on his face the entire time.

    Dang it!

    Jack quickly became my closest PC friend when I first signed up. He came to visit me with his wife and their two Priuses just a week after I took delivery of my car. I then visited him at his home as we talked about solar to help power his various medical devices. Unfortunately we drifted somewhat apart in more recent months. And now this. I am REALLY saddened by the news.

    RIP Jack.

    Excuse my language... what the HELL is going on?!
